- - Flat Roof
    - - Protects the building from all athmospheric influences just as a pitch roof does, but requires even more attention in its design. A key factor for both investor and designer is to create a durable and energy efficient roof. This is doable with well-thought-out and carefully checked system solutions.
  - Foundations
    - - While the foundation's primary function is to transfer the building's load onto the load-bearing ground, it also directly affects the building's thermal envelope. To ensure the desired energy efficiency performance, low-energy buildings must be designed with a continuous and uninterrupted thermal envelope. This is much simplified if we use the foundation pillow - a foundation slab which is thermally insulated from below.
  - Pitch Roofs
    - - Regionally, this is a traditional and well-tested type of roof construction. With new materials and developing expert knowledge, new solutions and different layer sequences are emerging, all due to an overabundance of new energy efficiency demands on the construction of roofs.

  - Façade
    - - While a simple assembly at first glance, modern architecture is increasingly challenging constructors with numerous new final facade layers, which are key for the correct choice of thermal insulation. Moreover, as parts of the facade may be exposed to moisture, it is necessary to install thermal insulation with low water and moisture absorption.
  - Floors and Ceilings
    - - Floors and ceiling can have numerous intended uses and may be on various location within the building. We should carefully consider the appropriate placement of thermal insulation and sound transfer protection, simultaneously taking into account the positioning of thermal insulation (cold and heated sides of spaces) and moisture and vapor transmission properties in cases of differing relative moisture.
  - Internal insulation
    - - As a rule, thermal insulation is installed on the outer (cold) side. Sometimes, however, it is necessary to install it from the inside. Interior thermal insulation must be carefully planned to avoid later problems with unresolved thermal bridges or water vapor diffusion.
  - Wall below grade
    - - If in contact with soil, any below grade wall must be thermally insulated without regard whether the space behind such walls is heated or cold. If nothing else - the thermal insulation layer will protect the waterproofing from mechanical damage. Last but not least – the building's thermal envelope must be continuous and uninterrupted.
  - Special constructions
    - - All constructions that were not adressed in other solution chapters - but are nevertheless frequently encountered - are special solutions.
        
        Typically, they are specific spaces in which constant thermal conditions have to be maintained with a minimal amount of energy. Good examples of special constructions are cooling units and swimming pools.

  - FIBRANskin
    - - FIBRANskin and FIBRANfilter are membranes for combined uses in FIBRAN solutions. Compared with other membranes, they perform excellently and are extremely durable.
  - FIBRANhydro
    - - FIBRANhydro products are components of the SEISMIC foundation pillow. Functioning as waterproofing, they glue two FIBRANxps thermal insulation layers to one another. Different combinations within the FIBRANhydro product range facilitate additional protection classes from high groundwater or radon gas entry.
  - FIBRANgeo
    - - FIBRANgeo stone wool products offer thermal insulation, sound insulation and fire protection in buildings.
        
        FIBRANgeo products have excellent thermal insulating capability and low thermal conductivity even at high temperatures. The fibers withstand temperatures above 1000°C and maintain their insulating properties and dimensional stability despite evaporation of the binder resin at lower temperatures.
  - FIBRANgyps
    - - Thanks to their versatility, FIBRANgyps gypsum plasterboards make it possible to solve the most varied design requirements.
        
        Available in different types and thicknesses, FIBRANgyps plasterboards are ideal for fire protection, thermal and acoustic insulation, and moisture resistance, as well as excellent mechanical performance.
        
        All FIBRANgyps plasterboards are classified as A +, regarding the emission of formaldehyde, acetaldehyde and other substances.
        
        The new FIBRANgyps CARE products are able to absorb, retain and neutralize the formaldehyde present in the environment without any subsequent release.
  - FIBRAN BOND
    - - FIBRAN BOND is a one-component, low-expansion, moisture-curing polyurethane foam adhesive designed for bonding thermal insulation materials (XPS, EPS, MW, PUR, PIR) and other construction materials.

In 1974, DIMITRIOS ANASTASIADIS established a company, called FIBRAN SA, in Thessaloniki, Greece, to produce prefabricated construction elements for the local market.

In less than 50 years, the small Greek company has grown into a European giant: FIBRAN is today a multinational industrial group with 13 production lines, factories in 6 European countries and commercial activities in 63 countries worldwide. It is currently the 3rd European producer of extruded polystyrene and enjoys an unquestionable leadership in the field of thermal insulation, sound insulation and passive fire protection in civil, industrial and naval fields…

However, the Fibran Group has not forgotten its roots, nor lost the sense of its story that was started by Dimitrios Anastasiadis and still works in a “glocal” perspective: a global business vision, a close connection with the various local realities.
The soul of the company is still a Greek one.
